Northern Kenya Bird watching

Day 1: A fascinating drive to northern Kenya through constantly changing landscape to Samburu stopping for lunch en-route near Mt. Kenya. The Ewaso Nyiro River, Samburu?s life support system attracts plenty of wildlife as it meanders through acacia trees . Spent the next two nights at the camp or lodge

Day 2: Samburu is an ornithologists paradise over three hundred and fifty species of birds. Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu concentrating along Ewaso Nyiro River

Day 3: Return this morning to the highlands for an exciting overnight stay at a Tree Hotel. Your Tree Hotel is the ideal location to view a host of Wildlife that frequent the floodlit watering hole and saltlicks. Overnight at a Tree Hotel or Camp.

Day 4: Leaving the lush highlands, descend into the Rift Valley onto Lake Baringo for lunch. The afternoon is free for optional excursions such as a boat trip on the Lake or a visit to Njemps Tribal Village. Overnight at a lodge or Camp.

Day 5: An early morning guided bird walk after which have a hearty breakfast. Continue to Lake Nakuru for lunch. The afternoon is spent bird watching around the lake, seasonal home of over 450 species of birds including millions of flamingos lining the shore. Overnight at a hotel or camp.

Day 6: A morning drive of great scenic beauty and contrast while crossing the Rift Valley to the famous Masai Mara. After lunch, take an afternoon game drive with a like-hood of spotting the Big Five – Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo and Lion. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 7: This is an exciting day of game viewing. Take an early morning and afternoon game drive through the Mara Reserve and you will see some of the most spectacular Wildlife in the Country.

Day 8: After breakfast in the Mara, return to Nairobi, arriving before lunch
